Channel 1 performs a couple of extra cleanup operations during startup, including packing the session table and cleaning up the error log. You may want to delete _fwsession.* from FoxWeb's temp folder. If this doesn't work, try moving the error log table to a different location, so that FoxWeb is forced to recreate it.

turning the service off yields no clues.  channel 1 window continuously resets

Im running 3.56, might installing 3.6 correct the problem?

Im having problems with channel 1 continuously dying and restarting. Only thing in fwstart.log is:

03/12/2010 19:36:08 Error: 1705 Message: "File access is denied." Program: "PROCEDURE CLASSCONFIG1.READCONFIG FWREADCONFIG.FXP" Line Number: 390 Line: "INDEX ..."

any idea what file may be corrupt? This system has been running fine for years and there have been no recent changes to software or hardware.
