Subject:  Re: Do you want to save or open this file
Now, when we click on the ICON whose URL: is http://localhost/login.fwx the systems opens whichever "Opens with:" is defined for Type of file: FWX at the moment.

We think we have compared, line by line, between the old box and the new box, for both the FoxWeb Control Panel and IIS's properties. We must have missed something.  Any ideas as th where to start looking?

Be aware that we did change the directory where the FoxWeb FWX's, PRG's ect. are placed. Those changes have been dealt with (we think).

This error is returned when you have not defined any virtual servers in the Virtual Servers page of the FoxWeb Control Center. Without defining a virtual server, you will only be able to access FoxWeb programs on localhost.

Unfortunatly I did miss the second part.  Doubly unfortunatly before I could act on your suggestion, Lew unloaded FoxWeb, installed VFP 9, and dealt with IIS then re-loaded FoxWeb.

Now he gets:

Error messages in FoxWeb - No program root has been configured for domain

I think you may have missed the second part of my response. Please select the Save option when presented with the  “Do you want to save or open this file” dialog and then post a copy of the contents of the file. If the file contains binary data, please email it to support@foxweb.com.

We downloaded (so as to get the latest and greatest) and did the install.

The problem may be related to incorrect setup of FoxWeb. Did you use the FoxWeb setup program to "move" FoxWeb to the new box, or did you simply copy files?

Please save the file and post a copy of its default name and contents.

Moving FoxWeb to a new box. When we call login.fwx, we get the message “Do you want to save or open this file”.

Obviously something isn't set up right. Any clues.
